Global IT Solution provider Ciara today announced the appointment of Jeffrey Cachat to the position of Director, Global Channel Sales and Business Development. With more than 10 years’ experience in the high performance computing (HPC) industry, Mr. Cachat will be responsible for leading the expansion of Ciara HPC product sales by developing new customers and driving growth in the company’s distribution channel; including VARs, ISVs and System Integrator partners.

Prior to joining Ciara, Mr. Cachat spent eight years with Cray Inc., recently serving as Senior Program Manager for the company’s line of CX Cluster Products and before that as Senior Project Manager in the company’s Engineering Division. Before joining Cray Inc., Mr. Cachat was an information technology consultant with IBM’s Global Services division and received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota.
