Jean-François Rioux named president of Medioh
Montréal, Quebec, September 5, 2023 — Hypertec Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-François Rioux as President of Medioh, the Group’s healthcare division. This appointment is part of Medioh’s growth plan, driven by the rapid expansion of telehealth services in North America and aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives.
Jean-François holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and has over 20 years of experience in operations, marketing, and sales management, as well as a keen interest in the healthcare sector.
He worked for over six years at Biron Groupe Santé, known for its medical laboratory and diagnostic and therapeutic healthcare services, where he held several positions, including Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. Biron has been one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies for seven consecutive years, and today boasts 120 service outlets and over 800 employees.
Before joining Biron, Jean-François spent 13 years at COGECO, where he successively held the positions of National Sales Manager, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, and Vice-President of Business Development. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Fondation Institut de gériatrie de Montréal.
