For two action-packed days in Montréal, Hypertec was at the center of the conversations shaping Canada’s AI future by demonstrating our leadership in sovereign AI infrastructure, advancing strategic partnerships and helping turn Canada’s AI ambitions into real-world capability. ALL IN 2026 gave us the opportunity to share major news, showcase our technology, contribute our expertise on stage and connect with hundreds of customers, partners and industry leaders.

Three Important Announcements

The event marked three important announcements for Hypertec:

  • A new announcement on manufacturing VAST-powered EBox storage systems at our Montréal facility, with the first deployment going to BUZZ HPC.

Hypertec Expertise on Stage

Hypertec leaders took part in three important panels addressing the infrastructure, partnerships and governance needed to advance sovereign AI in Canada:.

The New AI Infrastructure Race

David Arsenault, VP Global Sales for the HPC & AI division , joined Griffin Lacey of NVIDIA, Sean Kennedy of Nokia Bell Labs and Jodi Baxter of TELUS for The New AI Infrastructure Race: Energy, Data Centers, and Sovereignty. The panel explored the trusted infrastructure Canada needs to compete and scale, including sovereign compute, data centres, energy supply, privacy and the partnerships required to support national AI priorities.

Advancing Sovereign AI in Canada

Mike Marracino, President of Hypertec Solutions Partner joined Dayne Prouse of Raymond EMC Enclosures, Nikki Matarazzo of Dell Technologies and Michael Pelosi of Cohere for Advancing Sovereign AI in Canada: Local Leaders, Global Impact. Their discussion focused on how secure infrastructure, data control and ecosystem collaboration can protect data, accelerate innovation and strengthen Canada’s AI capabilities.

Building Sovereign AI Factories

David Arsenault, VP Global Sales HPC & AI division, joined Mo Alseddiq of VAST Data, Mark Volk of BUZZ HPC and Robin Gainer of Cohere for Building Sovereign AI Factories: Keeping Data, Models, and Compute Under National Control. The panel examined how organizations can balance performance, scalability, security and governance while keeping critical AI capabilities under national control.

Energy Beyond the Stage

The energy extended well beyond the stage. Petro-Canada showcased the CIARA TRIDENT iC610 immersion server in its cooling fluid, hundreds of visitors stopped by to talk with our team about AI infrastructure and deployment, and more than 200 waffles added a memorable touch to two days of great conversations. We closed the event with the Hypertec cocktail, bringing partners, customers and colleagues together to celebrate the momentum we built. We left ALL IN 2026 energized by the ambition across Canada’s AI ecosystem and more committed than ever to helping turn that ambition into real-world capability.
